These terms apply to your use of the Luma Android app and its story download service. By using Luma, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
Using Luma
Luma offers illustrated books and interactive fiction for personal reading. Some stories contain suspense, horror or mature themes. Check the store rating and story content notes when choosing what to read. If applicable law requires permission from a parent or guardian to use the app, obtain that permission first.
Personal use and content rights
You may use the app and read or download its stories within Luma for personal, non-commercial use. Rights in the app, stories, illustrations and branding remain with Luma or their respective rights holders. Separate licence terms apply to third-party software and other separately licensed materials.
Unless permitted by law or an applicable licence, please do not republish, redistribute or sell Luma's stories or artwork without permission. Do not use the app unlawfully, circumvent its security or interfere with the availability of the download service.
Downloads and reading progress
An internet connection is needed to check for catalogue updates and download stories. Downloaded stories can be read offline on the device where they were saved. Reading progress and choices are stored locally. Clearing app storage or uninstalling may remove them. Restoration depends on any available device backup.
Changes and availability
We may update the app, change the catalogue or remove titles for editorial, licensing, technical or legal reasons. Downloads and other online features may occasionally be unavailable. If we change these terms, we will publish the updated version on this page and give notice or seek consent where required by applicable law.
Privacy and your rights
See the Luma Privacy Policy for details about local reading data, downloads and support messages. These terms preserve the rights and remedies that applicable law gives you and that cannot be waived.
